Environmental Benefits
Solar electric systems have very little impact on the environment, making them one of the cleanest power-generating technologies available. While they're operating, PV systems produce no air pollution, hazardous waste, or noise, and they require no transportable fuels.

Solar electric systems help reduce air pollution, global warming, and the negative effects of coal mining and oil drilling.

Energy Cost Savings
Solar PV allows you to offset your electrical usage and reduce your monthly electric bill. With today's electrical and gas prices this is already a compelling balance. However, construction costs for new plants and transmission lines are rapidly increasing. Not to mention the volatile fossil fuel markets where increased global demand and reduced supply is driving up fuel costs across the board. Thus, it seem likely that electrical costs will be rising for years to come.

Solar PV is powered by the sun, which is both free to all and not dependent upon a global trade market. Solar PV gives you electricity for almost three decades, where you can rest assured that your electrical cost will remain constant.
